Dalam kata penutupnya, Paulus mengingatkan jemaat Galatia akan inti Injil, yaitu salib Kristus: “Tetapi aku sekali-kali tidak mau bermegah, selain dalam salib Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus, sebab olehnya dunia telah disalibkan bagiku dan aku bagi dunia” (Gal. 6:14).
